Transmission went into complete failure when arriving in St. Pete from Bushnell. Would not propel the vehicle forward or reverse.

Tommy Cobb removed the Transaxle unit from the vehicle, brought to shop for diagnosis and repair of failure. Complete disassembly. Thrust Terrington bearing failure, resulting in clutch hub destroying sprocket support assembly. numerous bushings, and clutch assemblies.

Tommy picked up transaxle, and took home to reinstall.

Aided him with assistance when possible  for the reinstallation.

After installation, and correcting numerous other sub-systems, the transmission Performed perfectly.
Smooth, progressive shifts, Torque Convertor Lock up performing to specification. Engine was performing very poorly, we corrected all those issues, and vehicle has great performance, and should provide good service for many years for owner.

Vehicle arrived by Flatbed Tow Truck

Has been partially customized, numerous issues to complete all needs to complete custom truck to show quality. Numerous issues. Needs to be completely surveyed, Estimated, and plan of completion formulated. This will be a very high dollar project to complete. on hold at this time.
 
Combined efforts of Tommy Cobb, and myself, we cleaned and repaired the Carburetor that was severly corroded and fuel varnished. Also, someone previously had tampered with the carb. and parts were not properly reinstalled. Now the carburetor is reassembled and functioning properly.
 
We had the task of also cleaning what Tommy deemed as a destroyed fuel tank and petcock. through perserverence, and lots of thinking, we restored the fuel tank and petcock, the tank is sparkling clean metal now, the petcock is clean, and functional.

Immediately upon firing up the bike after the fuel system repairs, we encountered fouled spark plugs, so a change was in order. After installing Spark Plugs, the engine now runs properly. 

The bike is in the shop awaiting customer pickup.

In summary, another bike that had severe fuel related issues, neglect, and improper repairs previously has been restored to factory specifications. another job well done.

All repairs completed, and engine Performing very well. ready for Customer Pick up, and Customer is aware that tires are severely weather worn and cracked.

Customer has not picked up the bike by this date. Needs to be put into regular service, instead of sitting. 
 
Dennis consulted with me to survey, diagnose, and repair this motorcycle to OEM specifications. Upon arrival the Battery was completely discharged, the gas tank has numerous large bumps in the gas tank, from rust underneath. the brake light Switch is defective. Also, some electrical issues have been noted for diagnosis and repair when obtaining a new battery.

Gas Tank is removed ( solid severe rust inside tank), and doubtfully repairable. Carbuerators were removed for diagnosis, and determining useability. Dirt, Corrosion, and Varnish were found. Hold until customer see's in person. Broken wiring connector found when removing battery for carb. removal.

Customer came to review issues, discuss all issues. Informed him gas tank has to be replaced. Gas Tank located for purchase, waited till 11/20/2010 for customer to bring money to purchase Good Used Gas Tank.

Customer came to see carbs. after intensive cleaning. Successfully they cleaned and are serviceable.
